Reitoría Universidade da Coruña

The 30th Scientific Meeting from the Spanish Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (SEMA) will be held at the Rectorate building of the University of A Coruña, located in the historic A Maestranza complex. This emblematic building, dating back to the Enlightenment period, is part of the former military and administrative complex from the 18th century that played a key role in the city’s port defense and organization.

Now fully renovated for university use, the Rectorate combines the architectural value of its historic heritage with functional, well-equipped spaces for academic and scientific events. Its privileged location in the heart of the old town, just a few metres from the seafront, makes it a representative and highly suitable setting for a high-level scientific meeting.
