Genome Integrity: from Mechanisms to Applied and Regulatory Research

The Presidents of the European Environmental Mutagen Society (EEMS) and United Kingdom Environmental Mutagen Society (UKEMS) are pleased to invite you to attend the 43rd Annual Meeting of the EEMS. The venue for this year’s meeting is Lancaster University, Lancaster, United Kingdom. The theme for this year’s meeting is ‘Genome Integrity: from Mechanisms to Applied and Regulatory Research’ and our extensive program will include the latest advances in the science of DNA damage and repair, mutagenesis, genome instability and the relationship of these events with exposure to environmental mutagens and epimutagens. The programme will also include a number of workshops with a regulatory perspective. We are confident that the 43rd Annual Meeting of the EEMS will provide a unique opportunity for European scientists, health care professionals and policy makers from academia, industry and regulatory bodies to keep abreast of the latest scientific trends and discoveries and interact with key opinion leaders in the field. Following the EEMS conference, the Genetic Toxicology Technical Committee (GTTC) of the International Life Sciences Institute of the Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (ILSI-HESI) will host a Satellite Workshop (July 10 – 11, 2014) entitled Genetic Toxicology at the Crossroads “From Qualitative Hazard Evaluation to Quantitative Risk Assessment.»

We very much look forward to seeing you in Lancaster at the 43rd Annual Meeting of the EEMS hosted by the UKEMS.

Yours sincerely,

Prof. Anthony M Lynch
President UKEMS & EEMS Treasurer

Prof. Leon Mullenders
